Tommy DeHorney III has performed for audiences in the United States, Italy and other parts of Europe with his rich tenor voice. During his travels and performances, Tommy has had the privilege to sing for and meet many distinguished Opera Artists, Conductors, and Directors around the world.

 

    Tommy joined The Living Opera in Richardson, TX  as the cover for Nemorino in L'elisir d'amore the Summer 2005.  During that season he performed in Gianni Schicchi with the same company. In April 2006, Tommy had the privilege to perform in the World Premier of the new opera "Beowulf" in Fort Worth, TX, as the lead Beowulf. The fall of 2007, Tommy was invited as a Guest Artist to perform at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, TX with the TBAAL association to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday. During 2008 Tommy moved to Philadelphia where he performed with the Amici Opera in Boris Godunov as Prince Schiusky. March 2010 Tommy will make his debut with Opera Lancaster in the role of Rodolfo in La Boheme.  In the summer of 2010, Tommy will join Opera New Jersey in their Summer Festival as a Studio Artist.  Tommy currently resides in Philadelphia, PA and studies in New York with Mark Oswald and Maestro Gregory Buchalter of the Metropolitan Opera.
